The life of an artist may be frighteningly similar to that of a circus carnie. A 13 hour drive, some serious manual labor, and forcing myself to function on very little sleep were just some of the challenges of doing the Tempe Festival of the Arts. The highlights included meeting new patrons, sharing a lot of laughs with fellow artists, and winning the “Best in Painting Award” at the show!
